My name is Bryann (pronounced Bree-Ann). I am an aunt to two beautiful little ones – a boy and a girl – who refer to me as Aunt Bee. For as long as I can remember, I have loved reading books and making crafts. And, though I am not a minimalist by any means, I appreciate keeping life simple and being frugal.

My love of reading really took off when I discovered the Cam Jansen Series by David A. Adler in my elementary school library. I’ve always loved mysteries and the classics. I would devour a book in one sitting. Today, my favorite authors are Agatha Christie, John Grisham, and Jane Austen (in no particular order).

I’m definitely more artistic than athletic. As a little girl, I loved to draw, color, read, and sing. I still love all those things, but I’ve also added crocheting and sewing. My mom taught me the basics of crochet when I was about 12 years old. From there, YouTube university taught me the rest. I’ve made everything from garments and accessories to stuffed animals and “potted” plants.

Throughout everything, I have seen the wisdom of keeping life simple. I’m an overthinker by nature, but trying to keep life as simple as possible and taking one day at a time has allowed me to find peace and sanity in this crazy world. A large part of that is also keeping expenses at a minimum.

I hope to help little ones develop their love of reading, inspire older ones to be creative, and encourage everyone to appreciate the simple world around them!
