Sally the Cow’s Grand Adventure

Sally the cow has never left the farm before. One day, when Farmer Fred isn’t looking, she sneaks through the open gate. Follow Sally as she explores the world outside her home!

This story was inspired by a real-life steer named Olaf. I have a dear friend whose family owns a farm. One day, while they were transporting Olaf to his new home, he got loose and went on the run.

Everyone searched for him. They searched by foot and by drone. But he had gone into the woods, and they could not find him.

Olaf was missing for a few weeks until he was found by a neighbor in with his cattle. Olaf was safely transported home and lived the rest of his life with a good family.

At the time, I thought it would make a cute children’s book. I hope you enjoy this re-imagining of Olaf’s story.
